Our History

On 21 March 1981, our founders, Mr Lee Thian Sung and Mr Tai Chin Leng incorporated Sri Selatan Auto dan Kejuteraan Sdn Bhd, a supplier of brand new spare parts for trucks and lorries based in Johor, Malaysia. The founders soon realised that there was a lack of supply of used genuine Japanese truck and lorry spare parts. To better serve our existing and potential customers, they decided to venture into the used spare parts business under the banner of S.S. Automotive Sdn Bhd.
 
Shortly thereafter, S.S. Automotive Sdn Bhd started purchasing used trucks, lorries, trailers, busses and vans for spare parts directly from Japan. Over the years, S.S. Automotive Sdn Bhd established a close relationship with our Japanese suppliers thereby allowing us to provide our customers with high quality products at a competitive price.
 
The founders soon realised that there was a demand for quality used Japanese cars spare parts. Seeing the opportunity to service our clients better, Touji Parts Sdn Bhd was incorporated, named after the managing director of our trusted Japanese supplier as an acknowledgement of our close business relations.
 
By 2005, the demand for our quality spare parts has outgrown the space available at our retail premises in Taman Mount Austin. To cope with the growing demand and volume of stock, our corporate group recently purchased a new factory unit located at Taman Perindustrian Cemerlang with a land area of approximately 8105 sqm (approx. 87,200 sqf). Nonetheless, it is the intention of the directors of S.S. Automotive Sdn Bhd and Touji Parts Sdn Bhd that the premises to be used for retail sales in the near future while maintaining our head office.
 
Our Vision
 
Given the change in international attitude towards international trade, S.S. Automotive Sdn Bhd and Touji Parts Sdn Bhd hopes to provide our customers with quality products at competitive prices regardless of your geographical location. In July 2019, we launched our online store on Lazada for Touji Parts Sdn Bhd, selling car spare parts to reach out to potential customers throughout Malaysia. Over time, we intend to increase the number of products sold online to allow our customers to shop from home!!
